Children's Holiday Activities in Southern Brittany

The south of Brittany is a very popular destination for families for its slightly warmer climate and better weather. Kids all love going to the beach and you have some of the finest ones in the area especially La Baule, Brittany's longest beach with 7km of fine sand to play with ! It is also an area dense in tourist attractions with its former capital of Nantes and the stunning fortified town of Guérande, just to name a few.
However, we all know that this is not always enough to keep our children happy especially on rainy days. So, stay dry at the Escal'Atlantic in Saint-Nazaire to enjoy a visit of the International Ocean Liner Museum and the submarine Espadon, or amaze everyone with "Les Machines de l'Ile", giant articulated animals and puppets in Nantes. For toddlers, you can always reliable on the Aquarium in Le Croisic and the animal park, Planète Sauvage in Port-Saint-Père. For older kids, you have four adventure and leisure parks to choose from.
