Your Holiday City Break Guide to Quimper with Accommodation, Travel and Attractions

Quimper, headquarters of the Finistère Département and former capital of Cornouaille, is a charming and bustling city of two rivers, Steir and Odet, that has plenty to offer for one day visit or longer to explore the rich scenic South Finistère area.

Beware that towards the last week of July, Quimper hosts one of the largest's Celtic Festival in Brittany, the Festival de Cornouaille. During these 9 days of festivities, the town is extremely busy and you are strongly recommended to book your accommodation well in advance to avoid disappointment.
