WHO WE ARE

If you have landed on this page, you are probably curious to check who we are. We are the online travel guide to Brittany at brittanyholidayguide.com and brittanytravelguide.com but we are not associated with the official Tourist Board of Brittany.

In fact, this page should rather be entitled "Who am I" as it is just me, a mother of two from Brittany who now lives in England but who has been travelling back and forth to Brittany for nearly two decades. After a career break from the exciting world of chemicals, I wanted to experience something new and decided to join the wagon of mums-entrepeneurs ..... the challenge I set myself was to create an attractive website with no budget nor external help. So, with no previous experience but armed with text books I quickly learned HTML coding and off I went. Brittany Holiday Guide was born four months later in summer 2009.

As a native Breton, I hope to share with you everything which makes Brittany such a special and attractive holiday destination but also a very welcoming region of France to live in. So expect more to come in the next few months. Am I making any money from the long hours spent on this project ? YES finally, no enough yet to retire though :) but as the quality of the site improves so does our page rank.
